Faith

Hebrews 11:8-10
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

By faith Nelson and Joyce, when called to foster children, they would later receive as their own, obeyed and fostered, even though they did not know how each placement would end up. By faith they remade their family reshaping it into something foreign; they lived in unease and unrest and changing family dynamics, as did Carlos, Emylee and Andres, who were heirs with them of the promise of a bigger family. For they were looking forward to the family with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
